Prendergast School Reunion!

A Date for Your Diary - Saturday 15th July 2017 - School Reunion!

It’s been three years since the last school reunion, which was held in March 2014 and Joy McKenzie like so many others missed it! So, Joy thought it would be a good idea to organise another school reunion, which is planned for this summer.

Joy is a university professor in China and former a pupil at Prendergast school, who originally thought of organising a school reunion just for girls in her year, who started at Prendergast School in 1978 (and will all be celebrating their 50th birthday this year), but when she posted her initial article about the proposed school reunion on the Prendergast Girls School Facebook site, there was so much interest that she decided to open the event up to girls from all other years too!

So, if like Joy you missed the last school reunion, don't worry you can attend this one, this summer! The school reunion will take place on Saturday 15th July from 2.00pm-8.00pm, at Prendergast School in Adelaide Hall, Adelaide Avenue, Brockley, London SE4 1LE.

Adelaide hall has a limited capacity and can only hold a maximum of 300 people. So former pupils who wish to attend the school reunion, can secure their place on a first come first serve basis, by sending their full name (maiden name, if married) and the year they started at Prendergast school, to Joy via email: joy.mckenzie.888@gmail.com or via the Prendergast Girls School Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/groups/6610770927/ and Joy will then add their name to the guest list.

The school will forward invitations to any teachers they are still in touch with e.g.

Mr Thomson, Miss Spencer, Mrs Wieck and Dr Upadhyay and Ms Allwood. If you are in personal contact with any present or former teachers, please let them know the details about this school reunion.

Although we will not be charging a fee for this event, we would like to ask each girl attending to bring something to eat or drink, (please contact Joy for details) and £5.00 each, to cover the insurance cost of the premises, equipment and the DJ - Thank you.
