Katie Carruthers
Foundation Governor
Katie was elected as a parent governor to the Leathersellers Federation of Schools in July 2021, and has loved becoming part of the school community. She has a daughter at Prendergast, and two more at local junior schools. She grew up in London, studied modern languages at Oxford, and is now a Creative Director in the advertising industry.
She has enjoyed using creativity to solve problems as a governor and feels strongly about helping to make learning enjoyable for everyone. In the past she has taught languages and sport to school children abroad, run school ski trips, and more recently mentored students to find their chosen career
