Items of regulation style must be obtained from the school suppliers mentioned above. Please note, prices may vary at times between the two suppliers. Other non-regulation items may be purchased from general suppliers listed in the Uniform Policy.
All uniform must be labelled with the student’s name.

White, black or navy socks or plain black, navy or flesh tone tights must be worn throughout the year. Socks should not be worn over tights. |

Prendergast School takes pride in the appearance of its students.
- All students in Years 7 to 11 are expected to wear the uniform in the correct manner
- Skirts must be knee length
- Shirts must be tucked into the skirt/trousers/shorts and worn with a tie
- Pullovers/jumpers should not be tucked into skirt/trousers
- No bandanas or hair bonnets to be worn
- No socks to be worn over tights or socks of different colours
Students must always wear their lanyard and school ID pass.
Equipment List
All students need to have the following items with them at school every day, along with their notebook.
Students should bring a clear/transparent water bottle marked with their name and tutor group.

Prendergast School reminds students about some important equipment rules which are for the safety of every student.
- Students must not bring plastic pencil sharpeners to school; please ensure your child's sharpener is metal.
- Students must not bring a pair of compasses to school; the school will provide these in lessons that require it (such as Maths or Science) and collect in at the end of the lesson.
- Students may only bring a pair of rounded-point school scissors
- Refillable water bottles must be clear/transparent plastic only (but may be any clear colour as long as the bottle is transparent); not disposable plastic bottles; no metal or opaque water bottles; glass bottles are not permitted. As well as for safety, this is an important rule for exams and assessments, as opaque bottles must not be brought into exam halls or into class for assessments.
Any equipment items that are not permitted may be confiscated at any time and behaviour rules may apply.
