Prendergast School is an all-girls school. This form is for girls in Years 7-11 only. (Year 7 in-year applications are only accepted after 1 January. Please contact Lewisham Admissions until 31 December.)
This application form must be completed by parent/carer with parental responsibility to apply for an in-year place in secondary at Prendergast School. We may require the applicant to provide formal evidence as proof of parental responsibility.
You must provide the following documents to complete your application:
- Proof of address where child normally lives includes: current council tax statement/letter (current year); tenancy agreement (current); confirmation of house purchase; letter from the National Asylum Support Service (NASS) or UK Border Force (UKBA). If this is a new address, you must also supply a letter from a solicitor confirming completion date (closing accounts may be required). If you move house, or some other relevant change to your situation, you must re-apply and provide new documents.
- Proof of birth date includes: child’s current passport; NHS prescription or medical letter (recently dated and showing child's address and DOB).

We are only able to process applications once the school has received all relevant requested documents.
For children who have arrived from outside the UK – it is the responsibility of the parents of foreign national children to check that their children have a right under their UK entry conditions to study at a school before applying for a place.
