Well done students - fantastic GCSE results!

We are delighted to share and celebrate another fantastic set of GCSE results at Prendergast School. Our students have shown tremendous dedication, resilience and commitment throughout their studies, and it is wonderful to see their hard work recognised in the results they have achieved. We are immensely proud of each and every one of them and warmly congratulate our students on their well-deserved success. Thank you to all of the staff, parents and carers who have supported our students to achieve this wonderful set of results.

88% of students achieved a grade 4 and above in English and Maths and 69% at 5 and above. 91% of all students achieved a 4+ in English and 89% of our students achieved a 4+ in Maths.  Achievement in the EBACC (English Baccalaureate) at 5+ is 51% which continues to once again be well above the national average. 

22% of all entries gained a grade 8/9 (A*) and 40% of all entries gained a grade 7 (A) or above.  While we celebrate the hard work and success of every single student, this year's results also feature several extraordinary individual triumphs. A phenomenal 21% of students gained at least 8 grades at 7-9 for their GCSEs.  Ada achieved 13 grade 8s and 9s, while Mysha, Eveline, and Fiona all achieved 12 grade 8s and 9s. Eleanor, Camille, Mya, and Yevgeniia all achieved 11 grade 8s and 9s. Clara achieved nine grade 8s and 9s, and Amana, Imogen, and Isla all achieved eight or more grade 8s and 9s. There are, of course, many more cases of outstanding performance and we look forward to celebrating these results with the students.
